Kids having fun!

Well not much is going on here. We're just playing outside a lot. The kids really like the outdoors. I can't wait for really warm weather. I'm being patient, trying to at least. The kids are getting along better, Danica is standing up for herself more. We are getting ready for a busy April. There is a lot of church functions that we're involved in, it is getting us ready for summer. It always seems like summer time always gets packed with things to do. Our small group does things a lot together, its great to have these friends. Here are some pictures of the kids playing. Hope everyone is doing well, God bless. Oliver is such a boy, he likes to test his limits. He enjoys climbing things and jumping off of them.

The other day Oliver and Danica planted flowers, they had lots of fun making a mess with the dirt. Hopefully they start to grow soon.

Colorado Trip

We have recently gone on a trip to Colorado to see my family. It was so much fun. We love visiting them. Dan and I were able to get some skiing in,(i ski, and he snowboards). The weather was great there. We went out to eat at a nice restaurant one night which was great except the kids of course wanted to explore the place, so it was a lot of up and down. Then my mom threw a surprise party for my step dad's 50th b-day. It was at this really old hotel in the town they live in. It was very pretty inside but again the kids wanted to get into everything. To be expected from a 1 year old and a 2 1/2 yr old, needless to say we were there for a very short while. But it was still fun.I forgot to mention that Danica was extremely ill before we left for the trip and about half way into the vacation she started to feel better. She had the flu bad. I felt so bad for her, all she wanted to do was lay down of be held, very out of the norm for her. We want to thank my family for a wonderful relaxing time, and we love you a lot, and miss you everyday. These are some pictures of our trip.

One afternoon Dan and I took Oliver to spend some one-on-one time with him. We went to a smaller ski resort that had a small sledding hill and a big pile of snow that he was playing on. It was fun.

This was at the sledding hill, they had tubes which are lots more fun then sleds.

Uncle Anthony and Aunt Codi were teaching Oliver to play PlayStation, he thought it was so cool. Thanks guys for being really fun for the kids, they love you two.

Sorry it has been sooooooo long since I have posted, I am really going to try to be better at it. Not much is new. The other day I had a photo shoot with the kids. I thought I would try and save some money and do them myself. I thought they came out pretty good, these are a few of them. The kids were really good, they had fun with it. Oliver would stand or sit however I put him it was so cute, Danica was a bit more challenging . On Tuesday we all flew to Colorado to visit my family. Danica is really sick right now though. She has a stomach thing. She has had diarrhea for the past few days, she hasn't had a fever for about a day. So hopefully she is almost through it. But it is so pitiful, I hold her pretty much all day long, when she isn't sleeping. But that's fine if it makes her feel better. I have been thinking lately how thankful I am that we are blessed with a girl and a boy. They are just so different, and it is fun to have that. well I will post again soon. God bless!
