Just want to say Hi......and cute pictures of course!

I saw that one of my friends edited her pictures at picnik it's an online photo place. Anyways I tried it out today and it was really cool. So the first two pictures I did there. We have been taking it easy so far this week. It was a busy weekend. Thursday the kids and I are getting together with some friends that I went to beauty school with it should be a lot of fun. We are beginning to look forward to warmer weather. I can't wait to be able to take the kids out more and do some fun things. Well hope all is well with all of you, have a good week.

Here are a few new pictures of the fam. Today we went outside to get some fresh air, and get a change of scenery. It was cold but the kids didn't seem to care they enjoyed themselves out there, I was the first one to get cold I think.

Danica had a wonderful time at her party. She didn't really know it was for her, at least I don't think she did but she enjoyed all the people around. Yesterday we were throwing around the idea of canceling it , because we were suppose to get 5-6 inches of snow, but then towards the evening it was looking better and we just decided to have it. The party was really fun. At first the kids decorated their party bags, then we ate, and played pin the be on the flower, and a bee toss into clay pots. It was a flower party theme. Then a pinata that took a while to bust open, so Dan had to take a couple of swings at it to let the treats fly. Danica didn't do much of the activities, but she just enjoyed walking around all the people. Then we had cupcakes and ice cream. She did a little bit better with it today then Tuesday, but she still didn't eat much of it. After that we went and Oliver opened her presents for her on her lap because she wasn't that interested, we did that in record time. Oliver just flipped through them. It was a great day. Oh yeah and we only got maybe two inches of snow. Thank you to all who came to celebrate this wonderful occasion.

Danica Doesn't Like Cake!

Danica is 1 now. She doesn't seem to have changed much. She is still loving, funny, talkative (no real words yet, but we keep working at it), and tough. She kind of has to be with a 2 1/2 year old brother who thinks she wants to wrestle all the time. On her birthday we had cake and ice cream, and she didn't want anything to do with eating the cake. She just smashed it between her fingers and spread it all over her tray. Dan had to push a piece in her mouth so she could try it and sh e still didn't eat it, oh well so she doesn't like cake so far, it could be worse. So after cake we tried to get her to open presents but she was not interested. We just got her a couple small things, I had the hardest time picking something out for her. She really doesn't play with much right now. She likes to walk around a lot and play w/ something for a minute and then she keeps going. So I kept seeing fun toys but didn't want to spend a lot because I knew it wouldn't get used much right now. Well on Saturday we are having a party for her so I post more pics then.

This was Danica's first time painting with Oliver. It was hilarious, she tried to eat it, climb on the table, oh and get it all over herself. It was fun!

I wanted to get Danica a pottery barn chair for her birthday, but then we figured that we should get Oliver one also to keep the peace around here. So we gave them a few days earlier for Valentines day. They like them, and so this is Danica w/ her doll sitting pretty in her chair.

So how is everything going? Things are good here. My Mom and sister came out for a few days last week. We had a lot of fun. Codi and I went on a girls day to ft Wayne and she had her nails done, we had lunch at the mall and then went to Build a Bear. It was really nice to have them here.

We had a nice warm day on Tuesday. Dan was home and we were outside almost the whole day. I cleaned up the yard Oliver rode his bike from the house, down to the shop. The bike is a European style bike with no peddles. It is suppose to teach them balance better. Oliver did so good, he almost held his legs up the whole time. Danica was out there also, she liked walking around and swinging. They are both doing so great. It is just amazing how they are beautiful, smart little people, who learn things daily. I like to watch them right now, Danica likes to walk around the house. In and out of rooms stopping to play with a toy and then she is off to somewhere else. Oliver is being more imaginative. I'll here him talking to himself while he is playing with his toys. Other then that everything is good.
